Low heat is not universally safe. The product label must explicitly permit the planned dryer method for the particular part.
- Separate a removable cover from a core only if instructed.
- Read the drying symbol and written temperature restrictions.
- Check whether the manufacturer’s method allows tumble drying, line drying or another arrangement.
- Ensure the load meets the dryer’s instructions and dries fully before refitting or storage.
Never place a control unit in a dryer. Do not assume that a water-based pad, foam core or waterproof backing tolerates heat because an unrelated textile does. If the label prohibits tumble drying, no score, short cycle or low setting overrides it.
