A short questionnaire cannot predict your skin temperature or tell you how a pad will feel through the night. The whole bedding arrangement matters.
Keep the room, sheet and duvet similar when comparing one layer. Note whether the fabric feels pleasant initially, whether the mattress feel changes and whether warmth or dampness returns later. These observations describe comfort; they are not a controlled temperature test or evidence of improved sleep stages.
Check whether the product is passive fabric, cushioning foam or a powered system. Follow its approved layering and care instructions. A cool first touch does not establish all-night heat removal, and more foam may change firmness unnecessarily.
Persistent unexplained night sweats deserve medical advice rather than a bedding-only explanation. For a purchase, use an identifiable model and clear return conditions instead of a predicted comfort score.
