Two instruction sets must agree: the pad’s care label and the machine’s load guidance. Fitting an item through the door does not establish washing or drying compatibility.
Identify the washable part, permitted cycle and drying method. A removable cover is different from a foam core, water-based layer or electrical controller. Follow any required draining and disconnection procedure before cleaning.
Check the machine’s bulky-load requirements and whether the item has room to move. Do not infer capacity from mattress size alone or pack a king-size layer tightly into a drum. Follow the permitted drying temperature and method, even if another setting would finish sooner.
If either instruction set rules out the plan, choose another approved cleaning route or ask the manufacturer. An arbitrary pass score cannot override a care label or certify a machine for that load.
