Walk the route before buying

Measure the storage space, doors and turns. Check the unit’s empty weight and the manual’s transport instructions. Drain as instructed before moving it, keep it upright as required and observe any settling period before restarting. Never carry it by a part not intended as a handle.

Decide how often it really needs moving

A fixed damp area with an approved drain route may suit a stationary unit better than repeatedly wheeling one between rooms. Moving the appliance does not fix the moisture source. Check leaks and ventilation where persistent dampness is present.
